Routine maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment is crucial for ensuring stable system operation, extending equipment lifespan, and guaranteeing effluent compliance.

The main aspects of equipment maintenance include lubrication, corrosion prevention, cleaning, adjustment, and component replacement.

(1) Routine maintenance: This involves external maintenance such as equipment upkeep, inspection, and lubrication, performed by the operator as part of shift work.

(2) Maintenance of worn parts: This includes cleaning, lubrication, maintenance, and inspection. This should be carried out under the guidance of professional maintenance personnel, including disassembly, adjustment of key points, and operation of the equipment.

(3) Repair: This is a large-scale planned repair, typically 1 to 1 times the standard for wastewater treatment plants, occurring every 3 years. It includes replacing and repairing equipment, inspecting and adjusting key parts, and ensuring the equipment meets technical standards.

(4) Major overhaul: This is the largest overhaul plan, including equipment inspection, disassembly and repair, replacement and adjustment, and finally reassembling into a new machine and repainting or re-spraying the equipment exterior. This is generally done every few years or even ten years by a professional repair shop.
