Before the widespread adoption of reverse osmosis technology, mixed bed technology was the mainstream solution for pure water production. While mixed bed equipment can produce pure water, it requires periodic shutdowns for resin regeneration. After regeneration, the water quality is unstable and difficult to restore to a level close to the original. Furthermore, mixed bed equipment is large, requires a significant floor space, and is cumbersome to operate.
Raw Water → Raw Water Tank → Raw Water Pump → Multi-media Filter (Quartz Sand Filter) → Activated Carbon Filter → Water Softener (Scale Inhibitor Addition Device) → Precision Filter → High-Pressure Pump → First-Stage Reverse Osmosis (RO) Unit → Pure Water Tank → High-Pressure Pump → Second-Stage Reverse Osmosis → Ultraviolet Sterilization Device (Ozone Sterilization Device) → Point of Use
Applications include: semiconductor materials, devices, printed circuit boards and integrated circuits; ultrapure materials and ultrapure chemical reagents; laboratories and pilot plants; automotive and home appliance surface polishing; pharmaceutical water; and other high-tech precision products.
